The Avant Healthcare process is seamless to you. Once the client agreement is signed and in place, you will be assigned an Avant Client Services Representative who will be your single point of contact and will ensure the candidates smooth transition into your organization.
Once a healthcare professional is ready to travel, we fly them to our corporate office in Orlando, Florida where they will stay in our corporate apartments for 2 to 3 weeks. During this time they will under go two programs, a Clinical Transition Program and a Social/Cultural Transition Program
Avant Clinical Transitions program
The program is designed to prepare the healthcare professional with the US Healthcare System of Medicare and Medicaid and the differences in practice in the US compared to their home countries We also address communication, clinical skills, documentation and critical thinking and decision making skills.
The Clinical Team that holds classroom training as well as on site training. We have a local Skilled Nursing Facility that allows our International staff to shadow and see how an average day may unfold as well as familiarizes them with equipment and documentation.

Our Social/Cultural Training Team assists the healthcare professionals with securing housing, setting up utilities, a bank account, car purchases insurance and school for children if needed. We will fly with them to their location of placement and assist them set up their apartment and show them the local area. We welcome the opportunity to bring them by the facility before they start to allow them to meet the staff and view the facility, we call this a meet and greet.
Once they are settled in and working our Clinical Team follows up with the Manager for progress reports on the healthcare professional. They also keep in touch with the professional to ensure that the transiting is going well and to be there for clinical support if needed.
